Hello YR2 parents/carers,

On this page is where Year 2 pupils' homework will be uploaded. We will be using a website called Purple Mash where I will set homework onto and children will complete them. This will be in the form of two tasks in your child's 2Do folder. Children have been sent logins, but if you lose it please email me (Khadeeja) and I can send it via email. In addition, English homework will also be given in form of a sheet and this will be sent home every Friday for children to complete and bring back on every Monday.

 

Please complete the following 2Dos on Purple Mash for homework:    

• 2Do: Addition & Subtraction (0 - 20)

• 2Do: Full stop, exclamation mark or question mark - quiz

Spelling homework: Children to practise their spellings by reading and writing them. Please encourage your child to use the common exception words (red words) on the sheet to write their own sentences using finger spaces, full stops, capital letters please. Y2 will have a Spelling test with the spellings on this sheet on Tuesday. 

If you need another sheet, please let me know and I can give another one to your child.

Other key information:

Please would you try your best to ensure your child's reading book is brought in every day. Your child's reading book will be changed every Friday. Please ensure your child has their P.E kit in a bag every Thursday.
