Year 1 - Home Learning

7th May 2021

Our IPC topic this term is 'Our world'. We have had a lovely week with all Year 1 children workin soo hard. In English we have been writing postcards with description of where we would like to go as well as what we would see and do there. In Maths, we counting in 2s, 5s and 10s. This week for our IPC topic, we have been focusing on Science and have been looking at what type of foods animals eat whislt sorting them into carnivores, omnivores and herbivores. I hope you have a great weekend Year 1!

Homework will be uploaded onto this page (school website) and will include Spellings which will consist of the green words of the sounds the children are learning that week, as well as some red words. We will be doing the Spelling test in an informal way so children are encouraged to apply their phonics where needed. Also, 2Do's will be set as homework too so please ensure you check your child's Purple Mash account.
